The Revolution Begins

The E3 has finished. You have to know, the E3 '06 is only the climax of the Revolution unveilment, it's not the finish. more is coming. And yes, more secrets.

Practically, this show was for Nintendo. Without doubt, and you can confirm it here:
Nintendo's Wii steals the show at expo (by Reuters)

Of course, the big surprise of the expo was Brawl, Super Smash Bros Brawl. 5 newcomers were a big surprise.
Meta Knight: a great warrior, of course. Amazing.
Pit: The Angel has returned, bravo!! Pit will be a great character.
Zero Suit Samus Aran: Mamacita!!
Wario: great fun! the best, wii love you, wario.
Solid Snake: The greatest surprise of the e3, without doubts.

Great games was shown. Super Mario Galaxy, Wii Sports Series, ExciteTruck, Project HAMMER, Twilight Princess Wii Version, Duck Hunt, Disaster: Day of crisis, Wario Ware: Smooth Moves and the great Metroid Prime 3: Corruption.

Great games as Red Steel, Sonic Wild Fire, Crystal Chronicles: Crystal Bearers, Trauma Center: Second Opinion, Rayman Raving Rabbids, Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 2, Sadness, etc.

The surprise of the show was the loudspeaker of the microphone. Just above the "1" and "2" buttons (before were called x & y or a & b). The aspect of Wii Conect 24 sounds great.

And now, i think that yes, the wait for Tokio Game Show '06 begins.

Stay Tunned. There are more secrets.

If you want more info, you must visit http://wii-nintendo.blogspot.com in the next days.

More Games

A really NEW game is coming from Konami to Revolution!! Elebit!!
Konami's First Revolution Title Revealed
http://revolution.ign.com/articles/703/703321p1.html

April 26, 2006 - Japan's Weekly Famitsu was promising a big Revolution scoop this week, and this appears to be it. The magazine is home to first details on Konami's first Revolution game, the all original Elebits. Shingo Mukaitouge, known for his work on the Guitar Freaks and Drum Mania series, is serving as producer.

The magazine was able to reveal only a few specifics on the new title. In Elebits, players move around a game world, attempting to find and collect Elebit creatures. Elebits are small and cute like Pikmin, but they actually serve as the energy source that makes the game's world move. The "Ele" in the name appears to stand for Electricity, with the "Bits" reflecting that the characters are tiny.

As you find Elebits, the game world will slowly evolve. The game will offer a feel of "hunting," suggesting that perhaps the Elebits won't just be sitting around waiting to get caught.

Specifics, including genre and gameplay systems, will have to wait until a future update, although Mukaitouge was able to add a few more details in an interview with the magazine.

The Elebits game design stems from three concepts, Mukaitouge revealed: letting the player feel like they're actually touching the inside of the screen; finding stuff by moving things; and Konami's creation of a new character, the Elebits themselves.

The first two areas are of particular interest due to their dependence on the Revolution's controller. Konami wanted to be sure and create something that could not be replicated on an existing controller. While not going into specifics on how exactly players will use the controller, Mukaitouge suggested the image of real time movements of on-screen objects based on movements of the controller.

With the cute Elebit characters, Elebits may seem like it targets casual users. The game will include some stages that can be played in under 10 minutes, but core gamers will also find lots of secret content. Network functionality is also being considered, although this is an area that will get Konami's attention only once the single player experience has been fully developed.

Further details on Elebits are expected at E3. The game is currently without a release date.

Rock and ROLL!! Sega unveils a "new" Monkey Game...
Super Monkey Ball Joins the Revolution
http://revolution.ign.com/articles/703/703324p1.html

April 26, 2006 - SEGA, why must you torment us so? Haven't you taken enough hours/days/weeks of our lives already with your Super Monkey Ball mini-games?

In any case, SEGA announced today that Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz is in development for the Revolution, and is designed to fully exploit the console's newfangled controller.

"The Nintendo Revolution presents a totally unique avenue for our developers to explore the art of game design," said SEGA VP of marketing Scott A. Steinberg. "Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz will present a mind-boggling array of gameplay innovations that will excite and challenge gamerswhile pushing the boundaries of imagination forward."

Aiai and all his pals have signed on for the sequel, and for the first time in a Monkey Ball game the primates can jump when the player flicks the controller upwards. This should add another dimension to the single-player puzzle levels, as well as open up a world of possibilities for the ever popular mini-games. Ring toss and "Whack-a-mole" scenarios are just two of the new party games SEGA has planned.

While SEGA hasn't released any screenshots just yet, the magic eight ball says it's likely we'll find out more about the game at E3.

No Online Game with Tecmo's (Online-)Golf Game?
Tecmo Ditches Online Play
http://revolution.ign.com/articles/703/703323p1.html

April 26, 2006 - Tecmo was one of the first Japanese publishers to announce support for the Revolution, with Skatto Golf Pangya Revolution seeming to come out of nowhere this past February. The latest issue of Famitsu has first details on the Revolution version of the Korean-developed golf game, including an interview with Tecmo producer Keisuke Kikuchi.

Kikuchi, who's known for his work on the Gallop Racer and Fatal Frame series, revealed to the magazine that Tecmo is approaching the Revolution title as an original game, rather than a port of the PC version. Tecmo wants to create a new golf game standard with the game, focusing on three areas: enjoyment from moving the controller to play the game, providing a better defined world over the PC version, and allowing players to play a little bit every day for a long time.

The PC version made its name as an online title, but the Revolution version looks like it will be a strictly offline experience. The focus of the Revolution version will be on offline play, Kikuchi revealed to the magazine. Tecmo is not planning on including competitive online play, although Kikuchi hopes to have downloadable content.

Of course, the game's control scheme is likely to draw the most attention. Kikuchi feels that players will enjoy moving their bodies to play the game. On top of the Revolution worthy control scheme, Tecmo is also working on a fully button-based input system which allows for precise controls.

Tecmo is working on plenty of new content for the Revolution version. The game will include multiple characters, each with a storyline. As you work through the story, you'll earn new costumes.

Skatto Golf Pangya Revolution is set to launch with the Revolution in Japan later this year.

I think It's clear that 20th was the begin of all this, as I said. More news coming in those days!!

I'm Back

I had a very fun vacation. Now, I have to return to work. So, there are the news, after Thursday 20th:

Play Revolution Before Anyone
http://revolution.ign.com/articles/702/702589p1.html

April 20, 2006
- Nintendo on Thursday afternoon announced a partnership with AOL.com that is sure to please anybody anticipating the successor to GameCube, still-codenamed Revolution. Through a contest with AOL, the Big N is planning to fly three lucky finalists to its media briefing and the Electronics Entertainment Expo 2006 to see and play the latest and greatest the company has to offer. Better yet, one of these three finalists will be "the first person in the world to play Nintendo's next home console," according to the firm. This statement is not exactly true since thousands of developers and some media have already gone hands-on with the system, but hey, it sure sounds nice.
To be eligible for the contest, gamers must sign up at http://www.aol.com/Nintendo-first-to-play between April 21 and April 28.

Three finalists will eventually make the cut and the luckiest of all participants will even take the stage at Nintendo's Kodak Theatre media briefing to play Revolution before anybody else in attendance.

"No consumer has ever played this new Nintendo system before," said George Harrison, Nintendo of America's senior vice president of marketing and corporate communications. "But more importantly, no one has ever interacted with video games in this way before. Our next home console will revolutionize how people play and experience video games."

"As one of the leading game destinations on the Web, we are thrilled to partner with Nintendo to give our AOL Games community the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be the very first person to play the highly anticipated Revolution console," said Ralph Rivera, vice president & general manager, AOL Games.

Entrants do not need to be members of AOL, but they will need to be 18 or older to participate in the contest.

Revolution Details Coming to Famitsu

http://revolution.ign.com/articles/702/702605p1.html

April 20, 2006
- Revolution is starting to get some buzz even in Japan. Earlier today, we reported on a scan of an upcoming issue of Jump Magazine that seemed to confirm Dragon Ball Z for Revolution. While the validity of the scan has yet to be confirmed, we can confirm one Revolution bit: a Revolution game or games will be unveiled on the pages of Famitsu next week. Famitsu is currently publishing a "scoops" section in each week's issue, leading up to E3. This week's scoop was Ridge Racer 7 for the PlayStation 3. In its preview for next week's issue, the magazine promises details on Revolution software as part of the scoops section. It may be one game, it may be more than one game -- we'll have to wait until next week to find out for sure.

Check back late next week for more.

Nights Set For Revolution?
http://revolution.ign.com/articles/702/702606p1.html

April 20, 2006 - Each weekly issue of Japan's Famitsu magazine has a tiny rumor section, a small black box taking up less than 1/6 of one of the black and white pages buried in the middle of the magazine. A couple of weeks back, the rumor section stated that Sega would be bringing a Yakuza (Ryu Ga Gotoku) sequel to the PlayStation 3. This week, something even juicier: Revolution will be getting an action game in which you fly a clown-like magician through the sky. The game will be made by a game creator who recently went independent.

Put a few pieces together, and this rumor seems to suggest that Sega's Nights Into Dreams will at last be getting a sequel, and it will be on the Revolution.

The rumor story goes on to hint that this little bit has something to do with a recent conversation the writers had with someone who created a famous bearded character.

Series creator Yuji Naka has, in previous interviews, hinted that he would like a special controller interface for a sequel to the game that many consider to be one of the Saturn's finest titles. We're not sure what famous bearded characters Naka has made in the past, though.

Rumors of a new Nights have officially appeared on the eve of every E3/CES since the original's release back in 1996. The fact that this is coming from Famitsu's rumor section gets us a bit more excited, but we'll wait for confirmation before letting our dreams run wild.

Tony Hawk Downhill Jam
http://revolution.ign.com/articles/702/702793p1.html

April 21, 2006 - Nintendo's official magazine published with the announcement that Tony Hawk Downhill Jam is coming to Revolution later this year. The game's title is pretty much self-explanatory, so for now we'll just have to leave it at that.

Activision's Tony Hawk license encapsulates one of the most popular and lucrative videogame franchises in the world. Tony Hawk Downhill Jam will provide a new twist on the wide-open, skate-intensive gameplay mechanics that have made Hawk entries so beloved.

IGN has already seen the game in motion and will have impressions and other materials at a later date. Stay tuned for that.

Atari Makes Revolution DBZ Official

http://revolution.ign.com/articles/702/702990p1.html

April 24, 2006
- Today Atari confirmed that Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 is indeed in development for Nintendo Revolution, as IGN announced last week. This will be the first next-generation Dragon Ball game, and it sounds like it will make good use of the Revolution's unique controller possibilities.

Matt Collins, director of marketing for Atari, said: "The innovative controller featured with Nintendo Revolution is perfectly suited for Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2, which engages players with fast-paced fighting moves. Gamers will be able to play in a very physical way, mimicking several of the show's most popular character moves and pull off awesome combos and attacks."

A sequel to last year's Tenkaichi, the game combines action, fighting and light RPG elements in a story that spans the entire Dragon Ball universe. The title features more than 100 playable characters, 15 destructible 3D environments, and nine different game modes, including both single and multiplayer battles.

Tenkaichi also boasts new new in-game transformations and puts the Revolution controller to full use. "Using the Nintendo Revolution controller, players will be able to mimic signature moves as they are performed in the Dragon Ball Z animated series, such as Goku's Kamehameha, moving both hands to executive this devastating energy attack," Atari stated.

Atari has the Revolution version of Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 set for a "holiday release." The PS2 build is scheduled to ship this October and we fully expect the Nintendo version to arrive at the same time.

SpongeBob and Avatar Hit Revolution
http://revolution.ign.com/articles/703/703003p1.html

April 24, 2006 - Publishing giant THQ today announced that it has inked a deal with Nickelodeon to bring popular games based on the highly-rated television shows SpongeBob SquarePants and Avatar: The Last Airbender to Nintendo's new generation console, codenamed Revolution. Both titles are scheduled for release on Revolution this fall, just in time for the launch of the system.
"THQ's Nickelodeon video game portfolio continues to dominate the kids video game space with nearly 17 million units of SpongeBob-branded games shipped worldwide. Last year's SpongeBob SquarePants: Lights, Camera, PANTS! and Nicktoons Unite! were two of the top video games for kids in 2005," said Kelly Flock, executive vice president of worldwide publishing, THQ. "This year's lineup includes games based upon some of the best loved Nickelodeon shows, as well as several exciting new television and theatrical properties. Nickelodeon fans and kids of all ages can expect to see new features, gameplay and adventures that are sure to provide hours of quality entertainment and loads of fun."

"We look forward to continuing our very successful alliance with THQ in the interactive entertainment market," said Stephen Youngwood, executive vice president, Nickelodeon Digital Media. "This year's lineup gives kids the opportunity to have fun with all their favorite Nickelodeon characters, as well as several of our newest shows and movies."

SpongeBob SquarePants: Creature from the Krusty Krab, enables players to explore the surreal world of Bikini Bottom as it transforms into uniquely different visual styles. The title, which offers a wide range of platformer mechanics, will make full use of the Revolution controller for some inspired new play opportunities. Blitz Games is developing Krusty Krab for Revolution. The studio announced several months ago that it was working on a big project for Nintendo's new system. SpongeBob would appear to be that title.

Avatar: The Last Airbender enables gamers to play as show characters Aang, Katara, Sokka, and Haru as they team up to use kung fu-inspired bending arts. Gamers will traverse through dour Avatar nations and gawk over beautifully detailed environments inspired by scenarios from the show. THQ's Studio Australia is making Avatar for Nintendo's new generation system.

So, the Revolution is coming...

¡RED STEEL!

The first game for Revolution has been revealed. Game Informer (GI) in its April issue has revelaed the first game of Nintendo Revolution, from the Ubisoft Paris Team. Meet Red Steel

Do you want pics? well, you have 'em:

want information? the Endangered blog has this:
"the sword and guns can be twisted in your hand, by twisting the rev's remote. so you can shoot gangster style and block with the sword. also, there is split screen and online multiplayer planned, just no details yet. you can also jump over and take cover behind objects by moving the rev's remote towards a upturned table or a wall, and reload by pulling the remote back."

You will also be able to lob grenades by imitating throwing a ball with the controller in your hand, or even roll it along the ground with an underhand throw..."

'The longer we played with it the more natural if felt, and the more quickly we mowed down the targets. strafing around the targets is incredibly easy, as keeping the controller pointed at the object, while you move around with the analog stick keeps you focused on the target. Aim felt similar to using a computer mouse, as it is possible to quickly explore every direction in a three dimension space with quick gestures.'

“In many situations, there will be a higher-ranking enemy who commands the others in the area. By defeating him, and sparing his life, he will offer you his respect, and help. The enemies will surrender their guns, and the boss may offer you a new weapon, a special path, or another reward. Any time you spare an enemy, you will be rewarded. As it always takes more skill to spare a life, than to take it”

“Although the majority of Red Steel’s gameplay will stress ranged combat, there will be times you need to get up close, and personal. You can switch to the sword at any time, and if you can get close enough to an enemy, you can use it for one-hit stealth kills. In other moments you’ll find yourself locked into intense one-on-one sword duels.”
Endangered says that the pics are ingame 100%. But, I found this interesting thnig about Red Steel in the most popular blog about Revolution: nintendo-revolution.blogspot.com :

As you know, FalafelKid and his blog "Nintendo Revolution: Definitive Speculation" is off until E3 '05. Falafel gave clues that he is now under a NDA. And then, he gives us that reason: http://www.extravagameza.com/redsteel.JPG
Obvious, the Red Steel game that he posted isn't the Revolution Game, he only took the name. And he has said after the unveilement of GI:
Since GI took the liberty of publishing the story already (ahead of the arranged embargo, as far as I know), allow me to point out that what you see in those scans are ´tentative screenshots´ if you will. I can´t go into detail, but it´s not certain that we´ll end up with those graphics precisely. Then again, ´Red Steel´ will shine by gameplay merit alone. Trust me. They could be screenshots alright. But they could be running on all sorts of hardware.
So, is Falafel a new "insider"? we hope that he is right and he's not fooling us.

Altough it, What Game Informer publish is really interesting. And the images are great if they are in real time actually. The first unveiled game of Revolution System is here. The Reality Simulation is within us.

Smile

:D

Sony will talk before Nintendo

Sony had announced that they will have their pre-E3 conference at May 8th.

This will be the first conference before E3, and when the PS3 will be revealed, hoping a lot of surprises to be announced and revealed. As games, the price, final design, the controller, and more.

The date of this conference will give to Nintendo the chance to kick asses at their conference one day after, when they know what Sony will unveil about their PS3.

UPDATE (5-april-06):
SCEE (Sony Computer Enterteinment of Europe) had announced that the price of the PS3 will be around 500 or 600 euros.
Instead the XBox 360's price $300- $400 USD. And, around three times the price of the next Famicom codenamed Revolution.

The begin of a new era

THIS IS THE BEGIN OF A NEW CONCEPT OF CONTROLLER

The XWand of Microsoft

The patent of Sony

A PS2 controller

the Glide FX for PS2 and PS3

A New concept of controller is here. The Nintendo Concept, as always. The XWand of Microsoft was patented in 2002, but, now, it has a chance. the new Glide FX is the proof that the Nintendo idea is the better. But, the Revmote controller is better than any of the revo-based controllers. I don't care about how many companies will copy Nintendo, this is a Revolution, after all. But, the Revolution will be gained by Nintendo.
The Controller is a great thing for the next Famicom, but it isn't all.

See outside the Box. It's Amazing.

Don't worry:

"Our next home system won't simply be new or include new technologies. Better technology is good, but not enough. Today's consoles already offer fairly realistic expressions so simply beefing up the graphics will not let most of us see a difference. So what should a new machine do? Much more. An unprecedented gameplay experience. Something no other machine has delivered before." - Iwata
Because the Revolution is:

"It's convenient to make games that are played on TVs. (...) I've always thought that games would eventually break free of the confines of a TV screen to fill an entire room." - Miyamoto
Easy to use and really amazing:

"I think maybe if I could do anything, I would make it so you don´t have to sit in front of a TV and play. If you could have a machine that you just plugged in and played inside a virtual world that - would be just great." -Miyamoto
Change your paradigms:

"Sitting in front of your monitor with a controller, there's really nowhere to go from that paradigm, all you can do is make it prettier and faster." - Miyamoto
Expand your definition of Gaming:

"When you turn on Revolution and see the graphics, you will say 'wow!'" - Iwata
Because the Revolution is NEAR:

"Not just a portable, not just a console - it's exactly what we wanted in that it's the birth of a completely new platform." - Wada (Square Enix)

This is a Disrupter Development... and it's coming:

"We disrupted the very definition of a game - and that is working, too. In a few weeks, you will better understand how to disrupt console gaming. You will play, and you will SEE." - Iwata

Think outside the Box.
What you've seen today... think outside the box. SEE outside the Box.
The successor of the Famicom, the new disrupter console of the videogames industry history...
N5 is only the second step of the Revolution. But, it will be amazing. I f you can SEE outside the box.

Yeah... I have to say it:

Believe...!

This is MY Blog.

Hello buddies!

I'm the guy called Tortus. And I will keep with me this name. It's mine.
And I will keep posting, because this is MY blog. Any visitors are welcomed.
Why I have this blog? Why I will keep posting in there?

Well, cuz I do what I want and I say what I know or believe. I'm not a liar. I'm a gamer. I like the "Reality Simulation" Project. As I said, this project begun in 2003. And now, we have actually the Nintendo DS, the gameboy-based system. This year we will have the (...), the Famicom-based system. This project is amazing, really amazing.

You saw that the GDC was a great conference. This was amazing. This was a conference about the Disrupter Development, and the DS was the star of this conference, because you can see that the ideology behind this project is a phenomenon and the DS is the better console ever. You saw the new Tortus Game... the Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass.
And even, you saw the beginning of the upcoming Retro War. Why retro-war? well, you will see... but, we know that the XBox 360 has the XLA, and the PS3 will have something to join this retro war. But I think the Virtual Console of the Next Famicom will be the better.

Greetings.

Rumor

Answers previous to GDC

The Most Recently questions are first.

Hi Tortus,

thanks a lot for answering my questions. I have some more:

1. Why do you know such details about the console and about the games although

you say that you are no insider?

2. You said: "You will know about more than 150 titles in the days of this fiscal year 2006."

a) Have the developers no problem with the fact that they still haven't got the final

revolution development kits? It takes years to make a good game, so I am a bit afraid

because most of the developers started developing revolution games very late, don't they?

b) How many of this 150 titles will be released until the end of this fiscal year?

3. Will the Revolution release before Playstation 3?

4. Will we see Super Mario 128 on E3?
!

5. a)Why does every blogger write NES in bold letters? Has the NES anything to do with the revolution?

b) Is that the reason the name of your blog is famicomrevolution?

6. Will the revolution have a good 3rd party support?

7. Will the revolution support chat over the headset during the game?

8. You said: "The Revo's Wi-Fi Connection will be better than XBox 360 Live."

How could this be if there is no lounge to meet the people? I think it is not so

good to use a seperate code for every game!

9. Do you thin it is expedient to change the name of the console?

"Nintendo Revolution" is already in the minds of the people.

10. Will revolution games be cheaper than gamecube games?

11. What about the classical controller for the revolution, does it really look like

the wavebird controller for gamecube? Why don't they show it?

12. Is it correct that the majority of the people won't play the revolut! ion games on a TV?

Greetings,

Sebastian
1.- I talked about Revolution Search. I know very well where to search and HOW. I have a friend that helps me with this. Also, I have "psychic" powers.

2.-
a) Well, the developers of PS3 hadn't the final developer kits of PS3. And they will launch their titles (that are more complexe to develop) in November. So, don't afraid, they have what they need. You will see more with answer to question 6.
b) I'm not sure. I can't give you any number about this. But I think around 30 or 40 new games... and a lot of old games.

3.- I think yes. Nintendo can't wait more. And they can take advantage.

4.- When the E3 approaches, I can be more able to answer to this question. I think that we will see something of.

5.- a) & b) Yeah dude. The Famicom is involved in a lot of ways on Revolution. What you did saw at Matt's blog? a bomb... and not Iwata... why Yamauchi? See the Revo Controller... It's a NES controller. And the name of the conference of tomorrow... Disrupting Development. The Famicom - NES was the most disrupment console in the videogame history.
And now, which is the successor of Famicom? the Super Famicom? not, it's only a Famicom upgraded, a Super Famicom. The N64? the NGC? not and not. So... yes... this is I was talked about Famicom Revolution... the successor of Famicom. The New NES.

6.- Yeah... but more important, it will have a great 2nd Party support. And Nintendo wants all of them with him... as the Famicom era. Nintendo will have a lot of warriors with him.

7.- Yeah... and out of game too.

8.- I think it's more secure. I talked about Revo's Game Cards. So, imagine that a friend wants to invite you to the games that he want. He can unveil him code friends if you have one of them. I'm not usre, but it's possible. I think the service of Revo's Wi-Fi Connection will be better than XBox's Live, as the DS's Wi-Fi Connection is a great success becuase of its cualities.

9.- Of how many people? 10 million, may be? more? I don't think that the Revolution is a great name for all the people that the Revo is going to: the Blue Ocean. But, it will be Nintendo's decision... and this will be the correct.

10.- Some of them.

11.- I don't know anything about this controller. Sorry dude.

12.- I don't think so. As I said before, the Environmet of the Revolution will be the TV... I think that a lot of people will play the Revolution together around a TV.

13.- I'm overworked. I hope yes... a little of it.

Greetings.

The First Questions:

Hi Tortus,

thanks for your interesting news. Although they are very imprecise I like reading them!

I have some more questions:

1. Everybody says that you can play revolution-games with your DS Lite.

But what about the old DS? Why should he not be compatible with Revolution?

2. How many first party titles will we probably see at launch?

3. Do you know anything about "Mario 128"?

4. Could you write somehting about the Wi-Fi-/online-aspect of Revolution or don't

you know anything about this?

5. Will Iwata unveil one of the secrets of Revolution at GDC?

6. Is NEAR a peripherial for Revolution?

7. Did Nintendo change something at the remote controller since Tokyo Game Show?

If yes, have th! ese changes anything to do with the 3rd revolutionary secret?

Greetings,

Sebastian

I want to think that you said imprecise because you think I'm talking too much but saying a few things, or I say, I'm cantifleando. Well, you have to read... remember what is my style. How I began, well, I know that may be you don't know if you've not read me on Atomix Forums. I have to explain: my messages are always the Tortus Traces. It's my style, and I like it.

1.- Well, the DS Lite has a Revolution-Design. And, with the time, the Ds Lite will be the standard, you can see it with the GBA classic and the others GBA. But, there will be no problem with your old DS, it will be an interphase, too.

2.- See it:
-Super Smash Bros Revolution
-Metroid Prime 3:
-Nintendo Baseball
-The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
-New Miyamoto's IP (unknown)
-N-Space FPS 1 (untitled)
-Camelot RPG (untitled)
I have to say that may be few games that are not planned for launch or are Top Secret can appear latter on the launch. And I'm not sure if the games of n-Space and Camelot will appear on the launch.

3.- Uh... This Mario Game will aproach the Revo Controller. Miyamoto planned the Revmote for this game... you can see, if you want to fly, you have to elevate your controller, and you will control Mario as if he is a plane. Also, you will jump with a little movement of your hand. when you press A you will punch, and when you press A and move the controller to the screen, you will fire. To be honest, this is a real Top Secret Game. But, you can have a sure thing: the interaction with the controller will be more amazing than Super Mario 64. And this will be as easy as a NES game... well, it have their differences. It will be very intuitive.

4.- I know! You have a Revo in your house. And your neighbor has a Revolution too. You can play with him wireless, and not using an Online connection. A lot of Revos can be connected without an online connection. How many is a lot? 4? jaja, not. 8? ja, not. 16? not, but may be, after all you have 4 controllers for each revo. How many do you need? You want an MMORPG, uh? what about a MMLRPG? It can be amazing, and free...
And now, what about you're playing an online Game with your Revo. And you play with a friend that has a DS. It's possible.
How can you play online with other guys? well, it will be similar to the DS's Wi-Fi Connection. You have Friend Codes with the DS. With the Revo, the Friend Code will be a key, not only to play, else, to get the "Gamer's Card" of your friend. But, you can play with unknown guys. But, sure you will have a lot of protection. After all, the NWFC is about Security. You can chat... you can use your DS for chat, its Touch Screen. You can see your friends and talk with 'em. The Revo's Wi-Fi Connection will be better than XBox 360 Live.
And, I have to mention this. You go to Sanborns or a Mc. Donalds or a library or a airport, or something so. You can play online... yes, with your Revo.

5.- I give you a 80% of yes. We have to wait PS3, after all.

6.- It was a Project. I said in the N5_Dev's blog that with the 3D stereoscopic the graphics can't be more near. But not, with the Augmented Reality the Graphics are the nearest possible, you can "touch" 'em. I don't think the Revo will use Augmented Reality. Perhaps later.
Is it a peripheral? well, as i said in my last post, this is more than a Peripheral, this is each form of Environmet that you can have with the Revolution. It's Nintendo Environment Applied Reality.

7.- I think this question is about what Mr. Inc said. Well, I have my doubts about Mr. Inc... about his fakeNESs. Have you sadNESs or are you in the darkNESs? A guy is telling me about the possibility of it. I don't know, an d I'm not wanting to be involucrated with fakers.
But Nintendo said that the Revmote that they showed at TGS was a prototype. To be honest, I don't know what Nintendo has changed. But... you sayd 3rd Revolutionay Secret... what if you take 3rd and change the letters...?

--Tortus

UPDATE: What name the revolution will take? Which Secret will be unveiled soon? We have to wait until Sony's conference tomorrow. And after, what we will see. But, hey. This is a Tortus Day, you'll be amazed again... I think I will have to change the URL and Name of my blog...

What do you want that I should say about Revolution?

The beggining of GDC... tired days...

Well, I've talking about the Revolution in the last days.

I unveiled what means the Tortus Day. I give you a trace about Revolution Environment (remember that I can't say anything with exactitude, because it's similar but new). I was answering every question you send me.

you want to read about NEAR?
weel, it's easy. this is a Revolution's Project. the main idea with this project is that the gamer should be the more nearest posible to the videogame, and with this, you will be more inside the game. This project is a philosophy.

Many of you said: is it "Nintendo Entertainment Augmented Reality"?. Not, it's not.
This project is Nintendo Environment Applied Reality.

en español, realidad aplicada en el ambiente del juego de Nintendo.

And what about this? Well, the idea of using a monitor instead a TV was one of the first ideas of this project. Because you are nearer with a monitor than with a TV, and the LCD monitor is a great screen. But, it's also about its portability of the Revolution. With a handheld system you're nearer than with a console system.
The ultimate step of the NEAR project is 3D Environmet. How? with 3D Stereoscopic? with Augmented Reality? well, they are great options. nintendo wants to see which is better. Which will we see on Revolution? I'm not sure. Surely you will have a great theater to fill... (...) ...
I'm not sure.

And what about the Touch Sensitive Feature of the Revolution? Well, I think this is about the Connectivity (or well, a part of) Secret. But i said you. With the Revmote you can touch... what? the air... you don't see it? what about the air? read some lines above...

And what about the Graphics?
Well, the Revolution will be a compilation of the story of videogaming. So, you can have 8bits graphics, 16bits graphics, 32bits graphics, 64bits graphics, 128bits graphics and yes, the Next Gen of graphics that you're seeing around. The Graphics less than 128 or Next Gen are not only for retro games... as well for new and amazing games...

and the games?
there are a lot of development around Revolution. A lot of developers and a lot of titles. You will know about more than 150 titles in the days of this fiscal year 2006, at least. How many titles for Launch? I'm not sure. What about 20, at least?
You will see the same games that you know. But you will know a lot of new types of games. And also, a new and immersive gameplay for the wellknown games. They are awaiting the Environment Secrets, and other secrets to be unveiled.

Of course, there are a lot of hermetism around here. This was what I can got.

You have any questions? send me a mail to famicomtortus@hotmail.com

The Secrets of the Revolution

There are the next secrets:

Retrocompability Secret (Unveiled)
Interphase Secret (unveiled)
Controller Secret
Environment Secret
Connectivity Secret
Graphics Secret
Entertainment Secret
Specs Secret

Everything that we don't know about Revolution is a Secret. Not? And you will have more on those secrets in the next days.

And yes, there is another:

Revelopment Secret

Revolution's ENVIRONMENT I

You've waiting too much for info. But, you can see that I was waiting for an obvious reason. Why? The GDC. We're overworked searching and getting the info of this event. But Nintendo is giving a lot of traces, not any info. We've expected this to happen, but we're doing what we can to demask the traces.

Well, Today I will speak about Revolution's Environment. It will be part one.

I know what everybody are claiming: visors, 3d stereoscopic, projections, 3D simulated images, touch screens. There are too many companies going around within hype: emagin, 3DH, Light Blue Optics, and more.

And... the real environment goes to...

The TV!!! the...?? WTF??? the TV????

Well, The Revolution has a great ideology. The Blue Ocean Market. You can't scare 'em. The visor will frighten 'em for sure.
The Touch Screen not. And you will have for sure a Touch Screen.
What about 3D simulated images with 3DH? Well, if you have to use special glasses it won't work. Because people doesn't want complications. And, this isn't really amazing.
What about Projectors? Well, the price is high for the projectors. The Revolution will be a less than $300 dollars console. And this includes the system and the controller, it will have a cost around $280.00 As I know... the price for consumers? it will be less, may be $200 or $250 the bigger. But, if you have a projector, you can use it.
Many screens will be used, the TV, the HD-TV, the LCD monitor, the CRT monitor, a portable screen, a visor too, etc.

But, is it revolutionary? of course that not. Remember that we're in the beggining of the Revolution. And think about this: Miyamoto, Iwata, Reggie and more have been talked about new concepts for gaming, expanding the Definition of Gaming. Miyamoto said: "It's convenient to develop games for the TV, but I ever wanted a custom screen without the four corners of the regular TV". Can Nintendo hype everybody to say at last: "sorry, we'll use the same paradigm of gaming and we only change the controller"? This will be a wrong step.
So, there is a new secret. And this is about the Environment.
What I called as Project NEAR.
But, what the hell is project NEAR?
Remember when the Revolution Controller info was around the web before TGS. The information was right. A Controller as the gyroscopic, but, the form of this controller and many features of it was a true surprise.
First, the Gyroscopic ... now, the 3D Stereoscopic ...

I'm overworked, I will talk about NEAR in the next days...

--Tortus

The Tortus Day is coming.

The Tortus Day has been revealed from Shigeru Miyamoto. I'm talking About the other side of the Tortus Day. The "Legend of Zelda" Day.
The Twilight Princess will be a major factor for the launchment of Revolution. The rumors of Twilight Princess has been around the world before the delay of the title. NGC Magazine talked about it. I talked about it before NGC, I said you that this game will be for Two Lights, the Game Cube and the Revolution. After all, do you believed Nintendo when they was telling that the LoZ:TP would be only for Nintendo Game Cube?
As I said since the past year, you will see Zelda on the GDConf. After Miyamoto has reveal the "secret" of the Twilight Princess, I think they can show a demontration on this conference on the gameplay of Revolution.
And what about MP3? Well, as I said you, I'm not sure that it will appear on the GDConf. After All, the May 9th will be the Great Day.
Metroid and Zelda will be a great combination... ...
May be TP will be launched before Revolution. But TP will be a great Revolution Launch Title.

I've talked you about the Tortus Day. I was serious. In my last post, I demonstrated that the TorTus Day is for real. I didn't say you nothing about this before 'cause Nintendo can discover me and then, change plans, or I think so.
I have to repeat that I'm not an iNsider. I have to repeat that I didn't believe on Aries, as I said, their info was wrong. And mine not. only in such things we had the same type of information.
I have to repeat that I don't believe either Osoko Tanaka, nor aZrev. But I like the guys that claims for a Revolution. And they are those boys. They are the ngame followers.
If you don't believe me, I don't care, because after all, I'm a gamer. But I have great Information. And you don't want to miss this. You've waiting for a long time. I'm doing what I can.

But believe.
The Tortus Day is coming.

And you have to see this video, is amazing, I'm not telling you that this is for real.

RespoNDS and AnsweRS

I've receiving a whole of emails. As I thought, to join emagindev was a great option for people to know me. Specially, those of US and Europe; france, as example. I tell you that my BlogStyle is different to the styles of guys as Osoko or the same aZrev. I want to bring to you a new concept about how make blogs, an also, to discuss about the Famicom Revolution. I will talk in the next days about Revolution's Graphics, Controller, Environment, Development, Features, Secrets and more. I'll be updating frequently. I want to talk about all that I know before Iwata's Conference.

I said that this week I will post something new about Revolution. And I hope to do it tomorrow. But, for the moment, I will respond to the questions and emails that all of you sent me. In this post I will answer all the emails... well, except one that I received from the Development NIBRIS Studio. Why? I'm not as those guys that says "Nintendo don't leave me to talk about it", "I don't want to hurt Nintendo", etc. If I know something, I will post it. But, in the case of NIBRIS, I won't, because this was something confidential, and, what they did talk was of no relevance for you. But, I will try to get info of their games, but I can't assure you nothing. I can say that they seem to be a good development studio. Sadness can be a great game. It will play with your feelings. I really hope that they can got a good publisher.

And now, your mails.
"Hi Tortus. Where you are from? aren't you a Nintendo insider? how can you obtain information on RS if you are not an insider? you've a great blog but I have a small question. The "Tortus Day" is the day of the launching of Twilight Princess? Will be sent along with RS? "
I'm from Latin America. My Father is from Italy, my Mother is from Spain. Actually, Latin America has great people. I've heard that a mexican made a CPU of 6.0 GHz. It's amazing. But, it gets burn quickly. But, hey! this is the first CPU of 6.0 GHz. I'm not an insider, but, latin america has great people, and actually they work in the US and Europe. So, I have my sources of information.
About the Tortus Day, I began to tell it before TGS 05, I think it was before E3 05. This "Day" is about Revolution and TP. You have to wait.

please don't reveal the name of my adress. I have not think to this.

-Mikael

You say do you want that I shouldn't reveal your e-mail? Well, I won't.

You don't have any more questions, any more comments? (...)

See it, too many "insiders" has fallen with the time. We don't need them anymore; I won't fall, because I'm not a fake, but I Have good information. And this is the better way to speak and unveil the Revolution. to give the revolution to gamers in hands of gamers.

This is my project (...).

The next message was translated to english.

hi Tortus! I'm happy you're back. But actually, the information of your blog isn't as good as when you made your threads on Atomix, I remember the "Answers to Revolution Questions", I liked this thread, almost all you said on this thread became true. I have new questions for you.
1.- The Revolution will use Augmented Reality?
2.- The Revolution won't use a screen?
3.- Can we play Twilight Princess with Revolution Controller?
4.- What about the Touch Sensivity Feature of the Rev?
5.- What revolution games you're waiting for?
6.- You said a price of $280 before E3 05. What you say now?
7.- How we'll play Super Smash Bros with the Revolution Controller?
8.- Osoko Tanaka and aZrev are fakes or not?
9.- How many new secrets the Revolution has? can you speak about them?
10.- In which way the graphics of revolution will cause that we say "wow"?

Thanks Tortus, I hope you can answer my questions. Keep the Good Work.
Atte. Apocaliptik
Ahhh, as the old times. I like it. Well, i will answer to all of your questions, as the good times.
1.- Not, NEAR
2.- It will use.
3.- Yes
4.- It has a DS. but I will speal about this topic in the next days.
5.- There are a lot. May be Nintendo Baseball will be a very interesting game. Metroid Prime Shadows too.
6.- Well, I think the production cost will be similar to this. The price will be Nintendo choice.
7.- It's almost Top Secret (remember what I said in the begin of this post). Sorry.
8.- Yeah. But, they are good men.
9.- Controller, Environment and Features.
10.- You don't need a Definition of Gaming. You don't need an High Definition. What you need is a REvolutionary Vision.

Tortus; Stop to lie!
You should not say what you now are telling us.
A man as you can not have the information of revolution without being an insider. I am almost sure that you are an insider. You do not want to DemaSk yourself, uh? for whom you work? NoA? Reggie?
Stop this already, father of the NGame.
ehhh... I was clear. Well, I think so. I'm not an insider.

Well, I won't put the emails of congratulations. I think we're fine with four mails. If you want to know more, send me an email. you can use the Atomix user's style apocaliptik. It is the style that I imposed when I was in theAtomix forums. I have a lot of work and I must sleep finally, after a tired week.

The purpose of my blog.

I know that I said that I were to talk about Revelopment today. But, I will talk tomorrow about it. I have to talk about the purpose of my blog, and for that, I want to begin with an answer to my friend Mikael.

Le dimanche 5 Mars 2006 04:54, vous avez écrit :

Ok I come from france.
We can't know if you know something interesting about revo or if you are a
fake who likes seeing people disapointed.
good luck for your blogs and your "project".
You GAMER, what are you want about revo ? What are your dreams for this new
nintendo ?
If you effectively develop a real site, why would this site be so
revolutionnary ?
I hope i don't waste my time with you.
Nintendo powaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
You say that you cannot know if I know something interesting of the Revolution.
This is 'cause you really don't know me. Already almost 10 months ago, I gave much information of the Revolution, and I assure to you that there isn't any guy that had the same great percentage of things guessed right on the Revolution. Nobody.

What is I want of the Famicom Revo? I want it to continue the Revolution that has initiated the Nintendo DS, I want that this industry expands its horizons, and I want to see things that make me to say "wow".

You question me about my site. My site is and will being very different from both faces of the currency, neither like blog of SG007 nor like blog of Falafelkid. This blog has my style, and I assure that my style began before they. You cannot compare me with these guys; because they began after than I.

Your Friend Tortus.

There is a guy that he thinks he is the judge and he can say if a blog is from the "goods", from the "bads", or from the "uglys". I see that there are too much people that doesn't understand why I joined the blog of emagindev. I didn't joined them for reasons as "I believe them". Not, I don't believe in anymore than me and my sources. This is what I ever said. The information that I gave wasn't based on guys as Aries, Tanaka and else. This is why I have the best percentage of correct information, and it's why I could give exclusively information that nobody more gave.

How can you believe me? you don't need to believe on me. You need to believe on Nintendo, on its Revolution. I'm here, but not for be a guy as Aries, Tanaka, SG007, Mr. Inc, N5_Dev and the other guys that appeared after me and have a style different from me. I'm not a bad guy, not an ugly blogger. I'm Tortus, and I have more about Revolution. I'm not a fake. I'm not an Insider, not a Developer. I'm a gamer, as you are. But, I write very interesting things, and I will write more. And the most important, I won't lie, and I have an historial of a great percentage of correct information. This is why you can read my blog and find interesting things and come here and say "wow, a guy that isn't a faker but he has good information". I am so; and you can say the same too. I'm Tortus, and I have more about Revolution.

And this is why, falafelkid, you can't judge me as you judge the other bloggers. Because I'm not a fake, and I'm not an Insider, but I have good information. Across the time it was demonstrated, and I'm demostrating it again.

I'm your friend, Tortus.

Nintendo's Million Connection

Today, Nintendo has announced that his one millionth connection has been done on his Wi-Fi Connection service. There is what Nintendo said:

"More Than 27 Million Connections have been Made around the World

REDMOND, Wash., March 7, 2006 – Nintendo’s wireless gaming service has hit an all- time gaming record of 1 million unique users, in less than four months in operation.

Nintendo® Wi-Fi Connection lets Nintendo DS™ owners log on cost-free to compete or interact in a variety of games, from racing in Mario Kart® DS to community-building in Animal Crossing®: Wild World. The 1 millionth user was a player in Japan, who logged on to play Animal Crossing: Wild World.

“Players are embracing our model of a compelling, safe, easy-to-use wireless gaming service,” says Reggie Fils-Aime, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of sales & marketing. “Those 1 million users represent more than 27 million game sessions.” On March 20, two new Wi-Fi-enabled games arrive in the Americas to draw even more players to Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. Tetris® DS brings a twist to the addictive classic puzzle game. Up to four players can compete against friends or strangers, near or far. Tetris DS features multiple modes themed with retro Nintendo characters and music.

Also launching March 20, Metroid® Prime Hunters features competition using Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, but players get an added bonus: the ability to chat with one another before and after battles, using VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol). Players can use this Metroid chat feature to agree on match parameters and to relive their battle glories. This riveting first-person shooter lets players choose from a variety of characters and weapons, with extensive replay options.

The worldwide leader and innovator in the creation of interactive entertainment, Nintendo Co., Ltd., of Kyoto, Japan, manufactures and markets hardware and software for its popular home and portable video game systems. Each year, hundreds of all-new titles for the best-selling Game Boy® Advance SP, Nintendo DS™ and Nintendo GameCube™ systems extend Nintendo’s vast game library and continue the tradition of delivering a rich, diverse mix of quality video games for players of all ages. Since the release of its first home video game system in 1983, Nintendo has sold more than 2 billion video games and more than 360 million hardware units globally, creating enduring industry icons such as Mario™ and Donkey Kong® and launching popular culture franchise phenomena such as Metroid®, Zelda™ and Pokémon®. A wholly owned subsidiary, Nintendo of America Inc., based in Redmond, Wash., serves as headquarters for Nintendo’s operations in the Western Hemisphere."

http://www.nintendowifi.com/global/searchArticles.do?article_id=60

Together with my last post, you can see the Nintendo Success. One million of Connections in four months and with three games only, is a great smash against Microsoft's XBox Live. And, with games as Tetris DS and Metroid Prime Hunters, sure there will be the same amount of gamers as XBox Live nearly (over 2 million).
The DS itself is a trophy against Sony, and, the new service of gamin' online of Nintendo is another trophy against Microsoft. So, Nintendo is kicking asses, as you like.

I'm waiting Metroid Prime Hunters, cuz I know it will be a grat game. The best FPS on a handheld system. ¿Blowing away Halo? It's hard to say, but I hope so.

So, enjoy your DS, enjoy your Wi-Fi Connection. And wait the Famicom revolution, because it's near.

The ReturN of the KiNg.

March 2.

The day when All the World saw that the King has returned, has returned on his territory, and nearly, he will return to the entirely world; and his FamiCom will prevail... again.

Nintendo has Japan on his haNDS. The Nintendo DS Lite didn't was a success only because his great design. It was a great success because the Nintendo DS is already a success, and all people in Japan loves the DS. Even those who doesn't play games a lot.

From the night previous to the launching, much people were in service to acquire this revolutionary system. Nintendo DS is the greatest blow in Japan in the history of the video games.

When PSP and DS were launched, Satoru Iwata said that they will prove that his vision was the correct for the Gaming Industry. Since the last months we can see that Iwata San was correct. With new software and applications as Brain Age, Nintendogs, Wi-Fi Connection, new innovative games as Trauma Center, Lost in Blue, Animal Crossing, Meteos, Phoenix Wright, Advance Wars DS, Wario Ware Touched, Kirby Canvas, and a lot of games more. The DS is the proof that the King has returned and his vision, this time, is the correct.

And now, the old King of the Games Industry will take the Industry on a new way... yes, again. This new way is better. The first time was for to approach people; this time, will be to approach the most people possible. And with the DS, the first great step was done.

The Famicom Revolution will be the second step. This Year is Nintendo's Year, this Year is Revolution's Year. This Year is the Year when the Gaming Industry has changed in the Home Consoles Sector and will consolidate the HandHelds Sector.

What can I say? I can give too many explanations of why the DS and Nintendo are the greatest company of videogames in Japan and almost the world. But, not, you must know why. I only can say that the KiNg has ReturNed. That the Collosus is awaken. That the Nintendo is here, again.

Tortus Responds

Send me emails to famicomtortus@hotmail.com also send me mails if you want to join the toRtuS Project. I have for today, two mails with questions, one in spanish, the another in english.

"I dont speak english well. It's tiring and difficult to read your big
blog.
But you say things interesting about revolution.

The Bloggers don't reveal revo's secrets because they don't no them, they are
fake, or because they work on it.Who are you ?

Do you know the "secrets"?Can you give me an idea, a way of them ?
(stereoscopic 3d...)

Thank you for your answer but i fear you are a bad fake, show me that is
false.

Will there be a new zelda into the revo line up?

Un fan aveugle parmi d'autre"

IT'S NEAR

Hi Everybody, I’m Tortus, and as I said two weeks ago, this is the new face of the Tortus Day. But first, what is the Tortus Day?

The Tortus Day

The Tortus Day is an upcoming event in wich Nintendo will release his latest Revolution. It’s coming, and they will have a great allied for the Revolution. And, it’s Tortus, It’s the Tortus Game. Can you read between lines?

When will be the Tortus Day? The Tortus Day is coming in fall 2006. Nintendo unveiled it at least. But, there are too many “Tortus Days”. Nintendo unveiled the most greatest: May 9th. There, Nintendo will unveil the Famicom Revolution and their beloved games. And, one of they will be a greatest game. But, there will be more great games, fantastic games, and yes, new applications.

Why Tortus Day? Well, it isn’t a only one Day. But Tortus will be there, in the Great Day. The Nintendo Day, the Revolution Day. But, Tortus Day is a term used only by me, because I’m named Tortus, Link Tortus.

Who am I?

I’m named Tortus, but I’m a gamer as you, I’m 20 years old, my name is Hero, well it’s a lie, I’m not 20, but I have 20 years since I am a Gamer. You can ask yourself why my English isn’t too good, it’s ‘cause I’m not from U.S. or England, my natal language is the Spanish. Don’t care about it. There are too many secrets of the Nintendo Revolution, and I’m here to solve the great question: What is the Revolution?

The Nintendo Revolution

The Nintendo Revolution is the great chance for Nintendo to take the VideoGaming industry and, one more time, redirect it in a new way. The Revolution is the answer of Nintendo to the Sony’s Kingdom and hers Play Stations. The First war is here: the Nintendo DS, the first Revolution machine, is having a great war against Sony’s Play Station Portable (PSP) and the wishes of Sony to have the Gaming Industry also in the handheld sector. But, already, Nintendo DS is winning this war, because its most innovative elements as Dual Screen, Touch Screen and more. This war began on fall 2004.

The New war, concentrated in home-console systems, will begin this year, where Nintendo will battle against Sony and her PlayStation 3 and Microsoft and his XBox 360.

But, the idea behind Revolution is more than winning battles against their competitors, Nintendo want to redirect the Gaming Industry into a new way, but which is the new way?

The Reality Simulation

As I explained before, Nintendo Revolution is the most advanced project of Nintendo and the evolution of games. All began with the Reality Project. But, after 10 years since then, the Reality Project has become in the Revolution Project: Reality Simulation.

If you want to know more about RS (Reality Simulation), then, read it: http://n-rs.blogspot.com/2006/02/revealing-secrets.html

Yes, I know there are too many people that even said the same, that the Revolution Project is the final phase of the Reality Project. But, they didn’t say that RS is “Reality Simulation”, they didn’t say RS is a new project, not Reality itself. But, it’s true that the bases and the development of this great project began with the Reality Project. But, the Reality Simulation Project began after year 2000, it began in 2002.

The Project

The Reality Simulation begun in the year of 2002, or maybe, in begins 2003, but I think this was in fall 2002. Nintendo planned to launch their new consoles in 2005. The now named DS and Revolution were those consoles. One of they based on Game Boy, and the other, based on Famicom. But, Nintendo has to adjust to the plans of their competitors, so, the DS launched one year before, and the Revolution will be launched one year after.

Both systems are based in the Revolution Project: the Reality Simulation.

So, Nintendo DS built in the Touch Screen and the microphone to be a simulator more realistic. The Wi-Fi, the Dual Screen and the slots are the complement of the experience.

With the touch screen, the DS had a great analogical controller, more than the analog sticks of the home-consoles. And this controller is the most precise that we have in a handheld console. The Reality Environment of the DS is the dual screen and the microphone. We know, the DS isn’t the most Reality Simulation system that we can have, but, based on Game Boy, this is the better. But, what if we can have more?

The Famicom Revolution

So, then, we have the next Nintendo system: the (by me) named Famicom Revolution.

But, what will be the Famicom Revolution? The Famicom Revolution is the most complete Reality Simulation System. I talked about what conforms the DS Revolution, the first aspect is the controller, and we have a touch screen, the typical buttons and a microphone; we have an environment, and we have the two screens, the microphone, the stereo sound and the wi-fi; but, we also have features, and we have the 2 slots, the wi-fi and many others.

The Controller

Nintendo unveiled a prototype of his controller on TGS (Tokio Game Show) 05 on September 16th, with this controller, we have a revolutionary way to interact with the system. It’s ‘cause the controller is a 3D Movement pointer. This is more than the 2D Movement pointer of the DS, so, it’s more realistic. It has the form of a Remote Controller, doing the Nintendo consoles more apt for all people, as the DS is like a palm. The Revmote controller has a D-Pad (won’t Nintendo leave this?), a main button called A, a trigger called B, two additional buttons (called X and Y or a and b), and, four function-buttons, the On, the Home, the Select and the Start. But, the Revmote Controller has the possibility to expand itself, an example is the nunchaku, which has an analog stick and two additional triggers. But, you can use two of the controllers at the same time, it depends of the game played. But, you can use in the future more add-ons than the nunchaku.

More details about controlling the Console will be unveiled at GDC 06 and/or E3 06.

The Environment

The Environment of the Revolution is the most great secret of the Revolution. And also, it will be much more realistic environment that the one in the DS or in the Game Cube. Do you want to know more about the Environment of the games? You’ll have to wait until GDC or well, read this blog in the next days.

The Features

The Revolution has a clear thing, and I will talk about this philosophy in the next days to demonstrate hidden aspects of the Revolution. With the Revolution, you can have games of all the generations, you can have much more things that you already knew. So, do you want to read more about it? I’ll post something the next week.

The Games

You’re waiting so long, and you don’t know a lot of aspects about Famicom Revolution, and also, you have to wait more, for I to speak about controller, environment and features. But, I can put a list of 14 games that are already announced his titles for the Revolution:

-Metroid Prime 3

-Super Smash Bros Revolution

-Super Mario

-The Legend of Zelda

-Crystal Chronicles

-Albatross 18 Wi-Fi

-James Bond 007: Casino Royale

-Darkness

-The Orb

-Raid over the River

-Thorn

-Sunder: Land of Divide

-Mario Kart Revolution

-Cars

But, there are a lot more of games. There are a lot more of Developers and publishers that will bring to Revolution more and very interesting games. Exactly, I will talk more about those titles in the next days.

The Secrets

The Famicom Revolution has too many secrets, has too many rumors, and yes, has too many possibilities. EA’s muller talked about “Touch Sensitive Feature”. What is it? What can it be? What will we see on GCD? And on E3 2006?

I’m Tortus.
And I have more about Revolution.
Believe it or not, the Great Day is coming.
