The NEAR project is one of the projects of Nintendo. The Touch Screen of the DS was one of the ideas of this project. The Revolution will use some of the ideas of this project, but the name of the project won't be unveiled.

Why will Nintendo not unveil the name of the project?

I don't think Nintendo will unveil the name of the project, there are two reasons:
*The most important: Nintendo not unveils every project that they make. Only some projects, as "Dolphin", as "Reality". Nitro was the project-name of the Nintendo DS. What about Revolution? well, i think they'll use Revolution as the project-name. But "Revolution" is the name that the press gave to the "N5", not Nintendo itself.
You won't hear or read about NEAR anymore, because the second reason:
-I've talked about what We find of this project. So, I don't think Nintendo will want to leave you to know about this, because they will reveal that I know more than supossed to know. But, see at the ThursTues Days, it's where you can believe me.
